Hello, my name is Sandra

I have been diagnosed with melanoma cancer, in 2001, and have been in remission since then. Currently, my surgeon who is a dermatologist (MOHS) is removing pre cancers and tumors from around my eyes.

Living in Arizona and when Janet Napolitano was the Governor, of this state, she wrote to the AZ Department of Health Services and stated, "Our health is one of the most important investments we can make for our future". I'm sure that you will agree with her. 

We need to keep in mind that there is a six-letter word that is so powerful, so meaningful and so heartless. That word is cancer!

Although, I built my business (SunScape Fashion) upon my particular needs I believe that every person has the right to obtain the best uv protection products, at affordable pricing. One day, the Governments, of the world, and big UV Industries will be forced to raise their bar, as far as genuine sun protection rating, from 50+ to 99.9+ requirements and standards as I had set for myself.

I also have a learning/comprehension disability along with a memory deficit and hopefully can encourage those to pursue what they deem as necessary, in helping others. I still face many challenges, frustrations, anxieties and a great desire just to give up. But in my heart, I know that lives are at stake and I value this precious gift that is given to all of us.

Due to the vast nature of skin disease I am astounded by the demographics of cancer patients who are not being supplied with real time ultraviolet protection. We have so many foundations, research labs, hospitals, doctors etc., trying to bloviate this horrendous disease but what do we do in the meantime as to self-preservation?

I am no expert on UV protection but I do know what my needs are. My passion and desire is to relish life outdoors, while I still have it to enjoy. In the meantime, I will continue to share what I learn and offer my genuine uv protection products to all in need, from sun protection. UV quality will not be undermined as long as I run this business. 

Remember, that somewhere, somehow and someone are touched in someway, with this elusive entity called cancer.
